I'm sitting in the RJ library now. And right under the really freezing cold aircon. Dr William Tan's marathon video is replaying itself over and over again behind me. I mean, I really admire him. I could sit and watch the video all day long being so touched by his sheer determination and his will to make the best of life. Which brings me to another point. Today is Maryann's birthday. And yesterday, both of us went out for dinner at Lido. The setting was picture perfect. We were sitting in front of that big screen, under a fake maple tree and talked for about 3 hours. Making both of us realsie how important it is to start taking stock of life, to not waste time, opportunity etc. It was great. Just having that kidn of talk to one of yoru old friends knowing they'll be there when you need them, no matter hwo far apart we are. I guess it's those little little things in life that makes us, humans satisfied. Like how no amount of good grades can compare to having the feeling of being loved by a good friend, to know someone out there cares. Thansk so much Maryann, and happy Sweet Seventeen birthday!
Love
